• Stimulate and grow the film community
• Provide a database of Video Professionals, Actors, and Screenwriters
• Provide opportunities to socialize and meet people with an interest in filmmaking
• Help and support aspiring filmmakers
• Encourage participation in local film projects
• Provide information on upcoming film festivals and video contests
• Assist filmmakers and actors to get into big budget movies shot locally
• Provide information, news, and updates on local film projects
• Provide a resource for ad and video agencies to find talent and crew for hire

Filmies is a growing organization that currently has no membership fee.  It is open to anyone with an interest in video production in the Quad City Area.  To become a member simply join our database of Production, Actors, and Screenwriters.  The database is a very important networking tool to help local video production.  The goal of the database is to have a resource available to find people locally to help your video undertaking succeed--whether that is a boom operator, comedian, or science fiction writer, we want to connect people to make things happen.
